Winter has come!

Post#1 by Krikor » 20 Jun 2021, 14:11

Winter has come!
Rainy and chilly days.
Still no sign of the "White Walkers", but strange things have been happening.
My pruned guava tree seems to be producing another type of fruit...

Winter? Are you in Australia?
Hmmmm...
Tim your deduction was not good. ;)

Although it is also winter in Australia this time of year, it is also for all countries below the Equator (Parallel / Latitude 0º).
In fact, the same latitude of my region also crosses some areas that are found in Africa, Australia, etc.
Even so, due to geographical differences, the climate can be totally different, as is the climate of the Sahara Desert (second largest desert in the world) and the various Asian countries that are at the same latitude.

A friend of mine, when he saw the photo in post #1, said that the cat there was not natural, that you could see it was a montage. :o

But there's no montage in this photo, unless it's been reduced by almost 75%.
The cat actually climbed at this point to about 8 to 10 meters high and kept warming itself away from the damp ground from the constant rains.
Two other photos.

That's a cat on a mission. Looks' like he's ready to take flying lessons.

The truth was, he was smelling the breaded steaks being cooked.
Good thing he didn't have flying lessons, or the steaks would have magically disappeared! :fb_haha:
